Role

You will be part of the core experimental team working on asymmetric bets. Your day to day will vary between exploring ideas, working with the AI team to create MVPs to validate our assumptions, and quickly moving to production all the while incorporating feedback from customers. As a team, we will build, iterate, and repeat until we identify early signs for product fit and then hire a founding team to scale that startup further. We plan to launch 6-8 companies by end of 2024.

You will enjoy this role if you are entrepreneurial (ex/future founder), enjoy ambiguity, adapting quickly, and keeping up with the latest advances.

Responsibilities

• Ideate with the AI team, understand customer pain points, and propose solutions to solve.
• Identify the right programming language, tech stack, and tooling required to efficiently solve the problem. You will have ownership on these decisions.
• Write imperfect code as a sacrifice to move quickly but be cognizant of the decisions and iterate quickly as we find traction. Leverage no-code tools where possible to substitute engineering work.
• As we find traction, write sustainable code to mature the product, and lead a team that will eventually take over the product.

You would bring

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development building large-scale, high-throughput, low-latency production systems.
• Prior experience with early-stage startup(s)
• Fluency in writing production-grade Python, JS, and any OOP language.
• Proficiency working with relational as well as non-relational databases in a production environment.
• Working knowledge of AI and familiarity with concepts of MLOps
